Growing up in a well-to-do family, I was in for a big surprise once I set out on my own in life. Being an immigrant, I was born and raised in the Philippines, my childhood a happy one if perhaps just a little coddling. I realized once I was away from my family home just how coddling my childhood had been. To me, chores were something that got done on their own, never anything that I needed to worry about. I was not used to cleaning my room, washing the dishes, doing my laundry, or making my bed. It was all foreign to me! I adapted, though, as I had no choice but to do so.
I have always been a dream chaser, a go getter. When I was 18, I earned my degree in nursing and before I end that chapter in my life, I made a simple promise to myself: I would be very successful. Whatever challenges came my way, I would overcome them. I would follow my passion for nursing, helping the sick and elderly, but follow my passion for entrepreneurship as well. Two years after I finished college, I put on my big girl pants and launched my own business, not knowing anything about business, I educated myself. Spent hours at the library, gathering research materials, watching Youtube videos for hours, thankfully to this day that first business is still thriving.
In my free time, I enjoy going on road trips, exploring new places, and taking photographs out in nature. I also enjoy eating at restaurants (new and familiar), I am very family oriented and I enjoy my own time. Here, you will find writings about my life, business, chasing one dreams, my personal opinions and my favorite destinations!
